The WM Review's S.D. Wright appeared on The Two Cities Podcast to discuss the Kingship of Christ—and whether this doctrine has been betrayed at and since Vatican II.
Excellent presentation once again and again plenty of factual information to enable a conclusion being reached on the stance one must adopt in light of what has been uncovered over the decades regarding the undoubtedly heretical direction Vat2 has lead the Church. Can it still be considered the Church of Christ?
Is this post vat 2 church lead down this path by it's founder Jesus Christ? If so, we are duty bound to comply and adopt the new teachings. If not, we must conclude that it is not the Church of Christ and therefore we have a duty to reject and flee from this new (nothing new under the sun) church.
Is there any infallible authority to guide us on how we must react in such a circumstance? I say we do. Pope St Pius X told us exactly how we must react. When faced with ambiguity or contradictory teaching, we must hold the duplicitous teacher to the heterodox meaning and therefore reject it completely. I would go further and say we must reject the teacher as well. The wisdom of St Pope Pius has been vindicated with hindsight when we see that the heterodox interpretations have unfailingly been adopted and as the St Pope implied, the implementation of the heterodox interpretation was always their intention.
A great discussion that puts to death the arguments of Thomas Pink that Vatican II's declaration on religious liberty is compatible with Church teaching and exposes for all the consequences of the declaration for the Church and society at large.
Sean, do you have any sources about the Vatican's influence in getting the confessional states to enshrine "religious liberty"? I have some who are saying it never happened, but I know you guys referenced it
