Christ’s Church cannot entirely defect and die in the first place, though parts of it can and this has occurred throughout history. “Traditionalists” have remained attached to that vine while most have broken themselves from her and are slowly dying because they believe and teach already condemned doctrines. I think that the vine and branches provides a better analogy for our present situation and think this would provide a good basis for a further article on this topic.

Following Vatican II many religious abandoned their vocations because the religion was changed and they thought there was no point in continuing. Rather than believing in the promises of Christ to his Church they perceived only the death of the former religion and their faith died with this.

There are many prophecies about the Church of Christ being enclosed by an imposter and the communists admitted that they were conspiring to achieve this very thing. It may be helpful to write more about these prophecies.

How do the “traditional” groups possess the constitution with which Christ endowed the Church?
