thank you so much for writing this nice tribute to His Lordship; he was a very virtuous and kind man and an exemplary priest and bishop. I had the pleasure of meeting and speaking to him on various occasions, and was always impressed with his intelligence and his patience.
Eternal Rest Grant Unto Him O Lord.
We will pray for the repose of his soul in our family Rosary.
A discerning eye sees in this pic all that is necessary to make the necessary conclusion: Conditional ordination and consecrations are generally performed in the sacristy or empty chapel (as in this pic). The one to be conditionally consecrated would be vested in a chasuble )as in the pic). The one consecrating would be in pontifical vestments (as in the pic). And perhaps someone would also be invited into the sacristy/chapel to take a picture of the historic event for later evidence (as in the pic).
If Archbishop Carlo Vigano was conditionally consecrated by Bishop Williamson, the man should just grow a proverbial pair and say it. As long as these rumors persist, he is responsible for all the confusion and doubt. As Our Lord Said, let you speech be Yes Yes and No No. Archbishop Vigano is of the Evil One.
I'm indebted to the great Bishop Williamson for his clarity of speech that whether or not you agreed completely with him one was left in no doubt as to his views. Even among the traditionalist clergy it's hard to find pure straight talking without at least some bowing to PC culture. Bishop Williamson taught us how to say what we mean and mean what we say even at the cost of isolation. At least there can then be real understanding, discussion and even resolution to the still present ontroversial topics.
I was privileged to first meet the then seminarian Richard Williamson at Econe during Pentecost 1975. I was fortunate to have met him both in Sydney and Wimbledon and enjoyed and benefited so very much from his exemplary knowledge, conversation and wisdom. May his dear soul rest in eternal peace.
Thanks for the honest article about the very controversial Bishop Richard Williamson, with whom I have many complaints but will not list them here.
I will say he should have cleared the air concerning Archbishop Vigano and the "Conditional Consecration". Also, performing "private consecrations" is despicable in any language, as it gives rise to uncertainly and doubt. It should never be done, period, and should be completely illegal and reprehensible. The priesthood, like marriage, is something public, and can never be private, even if the priest has no public faculties but only says Mass for the Divine Economy.
All that being said, may he rest in Peace, and may his disciples grant us full disclosure.

For some things words are not needed (if you catch my meaning):

R.I.P. The Church needs more clear speaking shepherds like Bishop Williamson who serve our Lord more than human respect.
If Bishop Williamson was clear-speaking, I would hate to see your idea of convoluted.
May God bless. Our Lady Help of Christians, pray for us.
May Our Lady of Fatima pray for us. She is our only hope. All else is an illusion.
